Infrared thermometer is a kind of measuring instrument that uses the principle of radiation to measure human body temperature. The infrared sensor used only absorbs the infrared radiation radiated from the human body without emitting any rays to the outside world, and senses the human body temperature through non-contact method. There are two types of contact and non-contact.
Contact infrared thermometer: Taking ear thermometer as an example, it is mainly composed of housing, temperature sensor, temperature sensor, PCB board circuit, liquid crystal display, buzzer and battery.
Non-contact infrared thermometer: Take forehead thermometer as an example, it is mainly composed of infrared probe assembly, main circuit board assembly, LCD display assembly and housing assembly.Ear thermometer
Ear thermometer principle:
It is a thermometer specially used to measure the temperature of the eardrum. The infrared radiation energy mainly emitted by the eardrum is transmitted to a thermal detector such as a thermopile through an infrared waveguide, and the infrared radiation energy is converted into electrical energy for electricity. Signal processing to obtain body temperature information.
1. Infrared ear thermometer is dedicated to measuring the temperature of the human ear canal. Compared with ordinary electronic thermometers, the measurement principle and measurement site are different, so it is impossible to obtain the same measurement value. The following are important concepts for judging body temperature:
a) The normal value of body temperature is a range, not a specific and constant value, which is different for everyone;
b) Normal body temperature, measured in different parts of the body are not the same, should not be used to compare with each other, of which ear temperature is the most accurate and sensitive;
c) Body temperature will change with changes in age, gender, time, exercise, mood, etc.;
d) Temperature can be measured when you and your family are healthy, so that you can compare it with future fever.
a) The infrared ear thermometer must be stable for 30 minutes in the operating environment before measurement;
b) The measuring head of the ear thermometer should be inserted into the ear canal as far as possible to fit into the ear drum.
The measured temperature varies depending on the body part being measured.
Scope of application: Suitable for household use, to avoid cross infection. At the same time, note that the ear canal diameter of babies under 6 months is small, and it is not suitable to use an ear thermometer.
Forehead thermometer
Principle of Forehead thermometer: Any object will emit infrared rays when it is above absolute zero (-273 °C), and the forehead gun receives infrared rays through the sensor to obtain the induced temperature data.Forehead gun features:
Designed for the reference measurement of human frontal temperature, it is very simple and convenient to use. Accurate temperature measurement in 1 second, no laser spot, avoid potential damage to eyes, no need to contact human skin, avoid cross infection, one-click temperature measurement, and check for flu.
With the increase in demand for infrared body temperature detection equipment, there is also the core component used in infrared body temperature detection equipment-infrared sensors. The most commonly used one is the thermopile infrared temperature sensor-SMTIR9901 / 02. Based on the silicon-based infrared sensor of the thermopile, the infrared sensor can be used for non-contact temperature measurement, because the infrared radiation characteristics are temperature-dependent, and filters can be used to measure different temperature ranges. Mature PCB semiconductor processes can reduce costs while miniaturizing devices. In order to meet certain applications, the opening angle of the infrared sensor can be designed to be less than 7 °. Directly senses heat radiation for measuring small temperature differences or average temperatures, providing a perfect solution for non-contact temperature measurement.
